SATO is a Japanese company founded in 1940. Originally, it was a plant producing and selling machines for processing bamboo, rattan and palm wood. In 1962, the company’s founder, wanting to improve production, invented a manual labeller. This one quickly gained immense popularity. Thanks to this achievement, new perspectives were opened for the company – it soon began to develop towards solutions in the field of AIDC (Automatic Identification And Data Capture).
